Two breakfasts plus an hour running around at a play centre equals one very very tired little boy who is still snoring away after 90 minutes’ sleep.
Squeak is thirteen months and has been walking confidently for the last month. Up until he started walking he still breastfed like a newborn regardless of how much food he ate and woke throughout the night.
Everyone said “Just wait until he starts walking – he’ll figure out sleep then.” I’d say “You said that about eating solids/sleeping in his own room/black out blinds etc. I hate you.” Ok maybe not the last part.
But lo and behold, it appears he is sleeping for much longer now during the day and at night. He has also started rejecting my milk on occasion, including settling back to sleep at night which I never thought would happen.
He’s growing up!
